Ukraine U19 Midfielder Patrick Sikut Signs New Long-Term Deal with Peterborough
Patrick Sikut, the attacking midfielder for Ukraine’s U19 national team, has extended his stay with English club Peterborough United. The 19-year-old midfielder has signed a new long-term contract and is set to feature for the first team during the 2026/27 season.
“I want to thank everyone—God, my teammates, coaches, and family—for their support and help. I’m delighted to sign this new deal and look forward to what lies ahead.
This club has a strong tradition of giving young players opportunities, which is why I’m very happy to be here. Now it’s up to me to keep working hard and show the management what I can do.
The summer has already been great, but I need to build on that success in the upcoming season. That’s my goal. I hope to take part in Saturday’s match against West Bromwich Albion,” Sikut said.
Peterborough United currently competes in the English third division. Sikut has made nine appearances for the first team so far, scoring one goal.
