Paolo Galbiati, the head coach of Baskonia, did not deny reports about the potential release of Ukrainian center Oleksiy Leni due to health issues.
Leni is confirmed to be unavailable for the opening game of the EuroLeague regular season against Olympiacos.
“The team will start the EuroLeague season with the same 12-player roster that featured in the Spanish Supercup semifinal against Joventut, but without Leni. For details regarding his situation, you will need to speak with the club’s management,” Galbiati stated.
