Defender Norman Powell has signed a two-year contract with the Chicago Bulls worth $45 million, according to insider Shams Charania.

Powell was one of the top free agents on the NBA market. Last season, he averaged 21.7 points and 3.5 rebounds while playing for the Miami Heat.

Miami was unable to retain Powell due to financial constraints following the recent trade of Giannis Antetokounmpo from the Milwaukee Bucks.
