Cooper Flagg, forward for the Dallas Mavericks, shared his thoughts on the recent addition of Zachary Rissache from the Atlanta Hawks. Flagg, who was selected as the first overall pick in the 2025 NBA Draft, noted that Rissache was drafted a year earlier.
“He’s an outstanding player. Rissache arrived with incredible energy. He’s extremely athletic, even more than I expected. He looks very lively, is in excellent shape, and is fully prepared for the new season. He scores shots and creates opportunities for drives to the basket.
I’d say Rissache is probably our most ready player right now. He constantly runs the court and fights hard for rebounds. So playing alongside him is a real pleasure,” Flagg commented.
