FIBA has announced the lineup for the Intercontinental Cup, which will take place at a new venue this year.
After three successful editions in Singapore, the tournament will be held in Beijing, China, from September 22 to 27, 2026.
Six teams have been divided into two groups of three. The top two teams from each group will advance to the semifinals, with the winners meeting in the final on September 27.
Group A features Rytas (Lithuania), the FIBA Champions League winners; Shanghai Sharks (China), the reigning Chinese Basketball Association champions; and RSSB Tigers (Rwanda), the current African Basketball League champions.
Group B includes the Argentine club Boca Juniors, champions of the South American Basketball Champions League; the host team Beijing Royal Fighters (China); and the NBA G League Select team.
