The Greece national team has announced its preparation schedule ahead of the second stage of the European qualifiers for the 2027 World Cup, which includes a key match against Ukraine on August 28 in Riga.
Before the official fixtures, Greece will play two friendly matches in Athens. On August 22, they will face Poland, followed by a game against Cyprus on August 24.
Following these friendlies, the team will travel to Latvia to contest the away qualifier against Ukraine on August 28. Greece is set to return home by August 31 to host Spain.
Meanwhile, Ukraine will begin its preparations for the August fixtures on August 14 in Latvia, where they will also play two friendlies—against the University of Arizona team and the Latvian national team.
