Arsenal and Newcastle United have reached an agreement for the transfer of Brazilian midfielder Bruno Guimarães to the London club. This was confirmed by well-known insider Fabrizio Romano on his social media platform X.

“Bruno Guimarães is moving to Arsenal! The deal with Newcastle has been finalized after lengthy negotiations, with personal terms agreed with Bruno back in July. The transfer fee stands at €87.75 million. He will be Mikel Arteta’s new midfielder,” Romano explained the key details of the transfer.

During the 2025/26 English Premier League season, the 28-year-old Bruno appeared in 29 matches for the Magpies, scoring 9 goals and providing 5 assists, remaining a crucial figure in his team’s creative play.
