The German club has decided to withdraw from the EuroCup.
German club Hamburg has no intention of taking Monaco’s place in European competition for the 2026/27 season.
According to journalist Rupert Fabig, Hamburg Towers have declined the opportunity to participate, citing their inability to organize player recruitment and adequately prepare the club for the tournament.
Over the past three years, Hamburg has been eliminated from European competition at the group stage each time. During this period, the team has also failed to qualify for the Bundesliga playoffs on any occasion.
