Boston Celtics forward Jason Tatum has responded for the first time to the trade of his longtime star teammate, defender Jaylen Brown, to the Philadelphia 76ers.
“Nine years! I’m incredibly grateful for everything we accomplished together and for how you pushed me to improve. From first-round exits to winning a championship side by side – I appreciate it all.
I have nothing but love and respect for you as a player and as a person! I’m looking forward to seeing how you handle this new chapter in your career and wish you all the best. Keep being special!” Tatum wrote on social media.
