Brighton midfielder Pascal Groß and the club’s manager Fabian Hürzeler were honored as the Premier League Player and Manager of the Month for September.

During the month, Groß scored two goals and provided three assists, making the 35-year-old German the sixth oldest player to receive the Premier League Player of the Month award. He joins the ranks of Stuart Pearce, Teddy Sheringham (both 38), Cristiano Ronaldo (37), Gianfranco Zola (36), and Paul Scholes (35).

Other contenders for the Player of the Month title in September included Haralambos Kostoulas, Mohamed Belloumi, Jayden Bogle, Alexander Isak, Jérémy Doku, Kevin Schade, and Antoine Semenyo.

The Manager of the Month accolade went to Hürzeler, who led Brighton through an unbeaten September, propelling the team to third place in the Premier League standings. The 33-year-old German edged out Andoni Iraola of Liverpool and Enzo Maresca of Manchester City in the voting.
