Khmelnytskyi signs NCAA champion from Baylor
BC Khmelnytskyi has announced the signing of American center Zach LaVdey, who stands 213 cm tall.
At the collegiate level, LaVdey played for Baylor University and Samford University. During his freshman year with Baylor, he was part of the team that won the NCAA championship in the 2020/21 season.
He also competed for the University of Charleston, where in the 2024/25 season he averaged 8.8 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 1.5 blocks per game.
This weekend, Khmelnytskyi will participate in a friendly tournament in Rivne. The team’s official season opener will feature home matches against Dnipro on October 2 and Zaporizhzhia on October 4.
