Vitaliy Mykolenko, the defender for the Ukraine national team, expressed confidence that Mykhailo Mudryk‘s return to the national squad is only a matter of time.
“I’m really happy for Mysha that he’s back. It’s unfortunate he suffered an injury, but that’s part of our football life; injuries happen to everyone during their career. I’m sure he’ll come back stronger and will be able to help us at the next training camp. I’m just glad he’s back. He can now enjoy football with the team rather than just individually,” Mykolenko told Vzbirna in an interview.
Mudryk was injured in early September during a Tottenham training session. Prior to that, he had made his first official match appearance since November 2024 in the game against Nottingham Forest, after being sidelined due to doping allegations.
