Orlandina Basket has announced the extension of the contract with 44-year-old Lithuanian veteran Simas Jasaitis.
This upcoming season will mark Jasaitis’ fourth consecutive campaign with the club. Last season, the experienced forward appeared in 33 games, averaging 11 points on 44 percent shooting from beyond the arc, along with 5 rebounds and 1.4 assists over 26 minutes per game.
Jasaitis began his professional career in 2000 with Vilnius-based Šakaliai. Throughout his career, he has played for several notable clubs including Maccabi Tel Aviv, Baskonia, Joventut, Galatasaray, and Rytas, among others.
On the international stage, Jasaitis earned bronze medals with the Lithuanian national team at the 2007 EuroBasket and the 2010 FIBA World Championship.
