Ukrainian point guard Maksym Shulha will participate in the NBA Summer League with the Boston Celtics, according to USA Today.
Previously, Boston declined to guarantee Shulha a minimum contract for the 2026/27 season, which subsequently made him a free agent. In the Summer League, starting on July 10, Shulha will compete for a second two-way contract with the Celtics; the first was awarded earlier to center Amari Williams.
Last season in the G League, Shulha averaged 14.8 points, 5.7 assists, and 4.6 rebounds per game, but he appeared in only 11 NBA games for Boston’s main roster, posting averages of 0.6 points and 0.5 rebounds in just three minutes per game.
