Denver Nuggets center Nikola Jokic has announced his intention to sign a record-breaking NBA contract next year, reportedly spanning five seasons and worth $360 million.
“I will sign that contract next year, if the team wants to keep me,” Jokic stated during the Nuggets’ media day.
Last NBA season, Jokic averaged 27.7 points, 12.9 rebounds, and 10.7 assists per game, shooting 56.9% from the field. This new deal would raise his career on-court earnings to an unprecedented $724 million.
