Oleksandr Ponosov will stay in Rivne
BK Rivne has announced that their homegrown talent, Oleksandr Ponosov, has signed a new contract with the club and will enter his fourth season in the Superliga with the team.
The 21-year-old guard featured in 32 games during the 2025/26 GGBET Superliga season, averaging 8.4 points, 2.0 assists, and 1.5 rebounds over 22 minutes per game.
“Oleksandr is one of the brightest representatives of the new generation of Rivne basketball. A product of the club’s system, he continues to develop steadily, gradually establishing himself among the team’s leaders.
He spent this off-season fully focused on progress. We are confident that an important step forward in his professional career lies ahead,” the club commented on the player’s contract renewal.
