Oleksiy Len will miss the Spanish Super Cup. The Ukrainian center, who recently joined Basconia and has only completed one training session, did not travel to Badalona.
This was confirmed by Paolo Galbiati shortly before the team departed for Catalonia ahead of Saturday’s debut match against Joventut.
Despite being asked three times about the reasons for Len’s absence, the coach simply reiterated that “he will not go” and that “he is unavailable,” although the club later clarified that he is suffering from “physical discomfort.”
Although Len has only been in Vitoria-Gasteiz for a few days, his absence is a significant blow, as he is the only “traditional” center of such caliber on the team.
