Denver will sign a 6-time NBA All-Star if he meets one condition

The Denver Nuggets are prepared to add forward DeMar DeRozan to their roster, provided he agrees to sign for the league minimum salary.
A six-time NBA All-Star, DeRozan became a free agent after being waived by the Sacramento Kings in July. Despite his experience, demand for the 37-year-old remains low. However, DeRozan is still holding out for a mid-level exception contract worth $6 million and is reluctant to accept the Nuggets’ offer, which is roughly half that amount.
During the 2025/26 season, DeRozan averaged 18.4 points, 4.1 assists, 2.9 rebounds, and 1.0 steals over 77 games.
