Orlando Magic have waived forward Jonathan Isaac.
Isaac had been with Orlando since 2017, after being selected sixth overall in the draft. He was the longest-tenured player on the current roster but frequently struggled with injuries, limiting his time on the court.
During the 2024 offseason, the Magic signed Isaac to a five-year, $84 million contract, though the final two seasons of the deal were not guaranteed. Jonathan is expected to attract attention on the NBA free agent market due to his defensive capabilities.
