Defender Anfernee Simons has agreed to a two-year contract with the Philadelphia 76ers worth $12.3 million, according to insider Shams Charania. The deal includes a player option for the second season.
Simons chose the 76ers over other contenders, believing he will fit perfectly into the revamped roster led by recently acquired Jalen Brown.
Over the past five seasons, Simons has averaged 18.8 points per game. Last season, he ranked sixth in the NBA for three-pointers made among players coming off the bench.
