Real Madrid suffered a 98-102 defeat against Hapoel in the third round of the EuroLeague regular season.

This loss marked the first time in the club’s history that Real Madrid started a EuroLeague season with three consecutive defeats. Previously, the Madrid side had fallen to Dubai (77-78) and Anadolu Efes (84-94).

All of Real Madrid‘s opening matches this season were played away from home. In the fourth round, the team will finally play in Madrid, hosting Partizan.
