Sir Alex Ferguson Reveals Speech Loss After 2018 Brain Surgery
Sir Alex Ferguson, the most decorated manager in Premier League history, recently opened up about one of the toughest challenges he has ever faced. In 2018, following brain surgery, he lost the ability to speak.
“I lost my voice; I couldn’t speak. It was a terrible moment.
I remember when my grandchildren came to visit me, and I had already lost my voice.
Then they brought in a psychotherapist who started doing things like asking me to write down the names of birds, animals, and rivers.
That’s how my voice came back,” the legendary manager shared in a deeply personal account.
