Stephen Curry has agreed to a two-year contract extension with the Golden State Warriors, worth $116 million, including a player option for the 2028-29 season.

The 38-year-old guard has spent his entire 17-year NBA career with the Warriors.
The deal ensures that Curry will remain with the team that selected him seventh overall in the 2009 NBA Draft until he turns 40, potentially until the end of his playing career.
A twelve-time All-Star and two-time MVP, Curry was limited to 43 games in the 2025-26 season due to injuries. Despite averaging just 30.9 minutes per game—the third-lowest of his career—he still posted 26.6 points and 4.7 assists per contest.
Throughout his career, Stephen has been instrumental in helping the Warriors secure four championship titles. Additionally, Golden State reached the NBA Finals twice more during his tenure, in 2016 and 2019, but fell short of the title on those occasions.
