“Žalgiris” has announced the signing of center Kaodirichi Akobundu-Ehiogu on a 1+1 contract.
Akobundu-Ehiogu is regarded as one of the most spectacular players in European basketball. Last season, while playing for “Manresa,” he led the EuroCup in blocks per game (1.6) and delivered numerous highlight-reel dunks.
During the offseason, Akobundu-Ehiogu signed with “Cedevita Olimpija,” which forced “Žalgiris” to pay a buyout fee to the Slovenian club.
