Žalgiris star: "The Ukrainians did everything faster than we did"

Zalgiris star and key Lithuanian national team player Auzolas Tubelis shared his thoughts following their 92-96 friendly defeat against Ukraine.
“We lost, but it was our first game. Naturally, the quality wasn’t there, and we lacked shooting—especially from the free-throw line. It felt like they were just faster in everything.
They’re not playing their first match, which is completely normal. We have new players, so I won’t say much. We just need to go back and train.
I need to shoot more, score more points, defend better, and that’s it,” he commented.
When asked about the potential arrival of Jonas Valančiūnas to Zalgiris, he responded, “No comment.”
