Athletic Club has revealed its financial results for the 2025/26 season along with the budget plan for the current year. The club recorded a historic high in revenue excluding transfers, totaling €192.9 million, while net profit reached €20.6 million.
Revenue from sporting competitions and related activities amounted to €59.7 million, marking a 19% increase compared to the previous year. Income from television rights contributed €81.9 million, which is 13% higher than the prior season. Meanwhile, the club reported that La Liga revenues remained virtually unchanged.
Athletic’s net profit stood at €20.6 million, which is €13.6 million more than the 2024/25 season and more than double the €10 million forecasted in the previous budget.
The financial plan for the 2026/27 season anticipates revenues of €152.6 million. Since Athletic will not be participating in European competitions, income from sporting events is expected to drop by €50.7 million. Additionally, revenue from broadcasting rights is projected to decline following the club’s 12th-place finish in La Liga last season.
The club emphasizes that its current financial position enables it to pursue its development plan using internal resources without resorting to external financing.
