Newcastle United has completed a managerial change, appointing German coach Matthias Jaissle as their new head. Today, Jaissle officially took charge of the team.

He has signed a long-term contract with Newcastle, extending until June 2030. This move signals the club’s commitment to a sustained project under the former Al Ahli manager.

The Saudi club Al Ahli will receive a compensation fee of €11 million for the early termination of Jaissle’s contract.

Jaissle succeeds Eddie Howe, who served as Newcastle’s manager for nearly five years.
