Real officially announced the signing of a young NBA scorer

Real Madrid has announced the signing of defender Nick Smith Jr. for the 2026/27 season.
The 22-year-old Smith spent the last three seasons in the NBA. In the previous season, he averaged 6.2 points per game with the Los Angeles Lakers, having earlier posted 9.9 points per game while playing for the Charlotte Hornets.
Smith will be making his debut in European basketball. Real Madrid intends to integrate him into the starting lineup and expects him to be one of the leading scorers in the upcoming EuroLeague season.
