Barcelona and PSG are set to begin talks today regarding the transfer of Ferran Torres. The player has expressed his desire to leave the Catalan club and move to Ligue 1.
Barcelona, initially reluctant to let Ferran go before securing a replacement forward, is asking for a transfer fee of 65 million euros.
The Barcelona management understands that negotiations may prove challenging since Ferran has already reached an agreement with PSG. At the same time, his market value has risen significantly following an impressive World Cup performance.
A positive factor in facilitating the deal is the strong relationship between the two clubs’ sporting directors, Decu and Luís Campush.
