According to The Sun, Real Madrid midfielder Jude Bellingham directed offensive language at Atlético Madrid forward Giuliano Simeone during the match. The incident occurred in the second half amid a physical battle for possession. After a fall, Bellingham quickly got up and confronted Simeone. Atlético midfielder Koke attempted to defuse the situation by pulling Bellingham aside. However, the broadcast cameras captured Bellingham shouting, “F*** you, you f***ing bastard!”
Bellingham did not calm down after the game either; he expressed his dissatisfaction with the referees in harsh terms, pushing the boundaries of acceptable conduct. Despite this, no disciplinary action was taken against him.
