Dmytro Riznyk Competes with Paraguay’s Orlando Gill for Juventus Goalkeeper Spot
Representatives of Dmytro Riznyk recently traveled to Turin for a scheduled meeting with officials from Juventus, according to multiple sources in the Italian press.
Journalist Stefano Nesti reports that agents from ProStar, the agency managing the 27-year-old goalkeeper’s career, arrived to engage with the leadership of the “Old Lady.” Riznyk’s performances in the UEFA Champions League have clearly made a strong impression on the club’s decision-makers.
However, the Ukrainian shot-stopper is not the only candidate Juventus is considering. His main rival for the position is Paraguayan goalkeeper Orlando Gill, currently playing for Argentina’s San Lorenzo. Gill stood out at the World Cup, notably attracting attention due to a post-match incident against France, where Kylian Mbappé refused to shake his hand, sparking a wave of criticism from a Paraguayan senator.
