After Hungary’s 0-1 defeat to Ukraine in the opening match of the UEFA Nations League, captain Dominik Szoboszlai shared his thoughts. It is worth noting that he was involved in a confrontation near the end of the game.

“That’s how it went. I’m proud of the team; today we gave everything on the pitch, but it wasn’t enough. We were unlucky, we created chances but couldn’t convert them.

In the second half, the Ukrainians hardly influenced the match at all. We have to move forward. The incident at the end is actually a positive sign because no matter who we face, we will fight. We need to keep doing what we’ve been doing, and then luck will be on our side,” Szoboszlai stated.
