Everton Stadium Experts Join Manchester United’s Old Trafford Redevelopment Team
Manchester United is advancing its plans to build a new 100,000-seat stadium following the acquisition of a crucial parcel of land.
The club has enlisted the expertise of Slaughter and May, a law firm that previously assisted Everton with their new stadium development, to support the early stages of construction and procurement for the ambitious Old Trafford replacement. Earlier this week, Manchester United announced the purchase of a 25-acre site, a key step that has reignited momentum for the project.
Slaughter and May played a significant role in advising Everton on their Hill Dickinson stadium project in Liverpool, covering aspects such as construction, financing, property, and planning. Despite initial concerns from supporters regarding transport links, Everton’s new stadium has been widely regarded as a successful venture.
At this point, no contractors or firms have been appointed to carry out Manchester United’s stadium project, as the process remains in its early phases.
