Fenerbahçe Submits Improved Offer for Rafael Leão Transfer
The transfer saga surrounding Rafael Leão could reach its conclusion today, August 3rd. Fenerbahçe is set to submit a new official offer to Milan in an attempt to lure the Portuguese star to Turkey.
This latest proposal is expected to be much closer to Milan’s asking price. However, convincing Leão himself to make the move remains a key challenge beyond persuading the Italian club.
Milan continues to value Leão at €60 million, but with the transfer market relatively quiet at that price point, the club has confirmed it is willing to accept a fee of €50 million for his departure.
Initially, Fenerbahçe had offered a loan deal with an option to buy for €40 million, but the Turkish club is now expected to present an improved bid in the region of €45–46 million.
Fenerbahçe has already proposed a contract to Jorge Mendes, Leão’s agent, offering the player €8 million per year plus €2 million in bonuses. This is a highly lucrative package, significantly exceeding his current salary at Milan, yet the Portuguese forward has not accepted the offer so far.
