Greece topped Group A of the UEFA Nations League after a dramatic 2-1 comeback victory against Serbia. The winning goal came in the 94th minute from Douvikas.
With the match seemingly heading towards a draw at the 90th minute, Greece were denied by the woodwork and then their goalkeeper Tsolakis, who made a spectacular acrobatic save, blocking a header from the goal line.
However, in stoppage time, Serbia experienced heartbreak. A routine overlapping run down the flank by Tsimikas led to a simple cross to the near post, where Douvikas managed to get ahead of the defender by a fraction of a second to secure a well-deserved win for Greece.
