João Palhinha will continue playing for Bayern Munich despite rumors of his departure. According to Sky Germany, the Portuguese midfielder is set to return to the Bavarian club for preseason training after his proposed transfer to Tottenham fell through. The Spurs, where Palhinha spent last season on loan, abandoned the move following their acquisitions of Sandro Tonali and Matheus Fernandes.
A return to Sporting is also unlikely, as the Portuguese club considers Bayern’s asking price too high. With a contract running until 2028, Palhinha’s future remains uncertain, and negotiations with other clubs are ongoing.
