There is positive news for Qarabağ ahead of their home leg against Dynamo Kyiv in the third qualifying round of the UEFA Europa Conference League. After suffering a 0-1 defeat in the first leg in Poland, Qarabağ will host the Kyiv side in Baku on Thursday.

The injury sustained by Azerbaijani defender Elvin Jafarguliyev during the opening match has been confirmed as minor. Jafarguliyev underwent an MRI scan which revealed no significant issues.

Currently, Elvin continues to train with the team as they prepare for the crucial second leg.

It is worth noting that the Azerbaijan Premier League season is set to commence shortly after Qarabağ’s return fixture against Dynamo Kyiv.
