Karpaty Sign Real Madrid Academy Graduate Mohamed Mukhliss
Lviv’s Karpaty have officially announced the signing of central midfielder Mogamed Mukhliss. The 26-year-old has agreed to a contract structured as a 3+1 deal with the club.
Born in Madrid to Moroccan parents, Mukhliss began his football journey in Real Madrid’s academy. He progressed through the youth ranks of the “Los Blancos,” from the U-10 level up to Castilla. In 2019, he went on loan to Celta Vigo’s second team, competing in the lower divisions. After a year, he returned to Madrid before moving on to Valladolid B.
In 2022, Mogamed signed with Andorra FC. However, just six months later, he was loaned out to Barcelona B. Two years after that, he joined Murcia, where he played under the current Karpaty head coach Francisco Fernández.
Most recently, Mukhliss represented Portuguese side Vizela. During the 2025/26 season, he featured in 32 matches, scoring two goals and providing five assists.
It’s also worth noting that Mukhliss has international experience at youth level, having played for Spain’s U-17 and U-19 teams, with whom he won the European Championship.
