Kauan Elias is extremely pleased to have scored his first hat-trick for Shakhtar, though he wasn’t entirely surprised—he had a strong feeling it would happen.
“Last night, I dreamed that I would score a hat-trick. I told my family and my fitness coach that I would net three goals in this match. And thankfully, that’s exactly what happened,” the evening’s hero admitted in an interview with the club’s press service.
This promising start fuels his ambitious goals for the season:
“I want to score more than 20 goals. That should be my personal record. I believe I need this, and I am willing to work hard to achieve it. I am confident that I will succeed. Together with my coaching staff and the team here at Shakhtar, I know I can reach this target.”
