UEFA has announced disciplinary measures against the Ukrainian club LNZ following their home-leg match in the second qualifying round of the UEFA Conference League against Gent, which ended 0-0.
The club has been fined €10,000 and has been ordered to partially close their stadium for their next UEFA club competition match as the home team. This sanction comes as a result of racist and discriminatory behavior by their supporters. However, the partial stadium closure is a suspended penalty and will only be enforced if the club is found guilty of similar offenses within the next two years.
In addition to the fine and stadium sanction, LNZ received a formal warning for failing to meet minimum medical requirements, specifically due to the absence of medical staff on the day before the match.
