Kirill Fesyun has returned to training with the main squad of Shakhtar Donetsk, according to the club’s official press service. This update effectively puts to rest the sensational claims made a few days ago by insider Igor Burbas.
Previously, Burbas reported that Fesyun was facing serious health issues following a tick bite. Initial reports even suggested the possibility of the goalkeeper having to end his career prematurely. However, these alarming statements were later toned down, indicating only that Fesyun would be unable to train or play for a period. Ultimately, the situation resolved calmly and positively.
The fuss surrounding the tick bite and its supposed dire consequences was humorously addressed by Artem Bondarenko. Responding to Fesyun’s return, Bondarenko posted on Instagram: “They said you were done for,” accompanied by a friendly smiley face.
