Barcelona forward Lamine Yamal has returned from his World Cup break and resumed training with the Catalan side. The young striker spent the morning session working out in the gym while Pau Cubarsi and Dani Olmo trained on the field. In the afternoon, Yamal joined the main group under Hansi Flick and took part in his first ball session since returning.

During the daytime training, Yamal also worked alongside the team’s new signings, Anthony Gordon and Jesse Bischoff, marking their first session together.

Barcelona is set to play in the Joan Gamper Trophy match on August 19. Their La Liga campaign begins on August 23 with an away fixture against Elche in the second round. The opening match against Athletic Club has been postponed to August 27.
