Algeria national team goalkeeper Luka Zidane has changed his club affiliation. The 28-year-old shot-stopper left Granada a year before his contract expired and signed a two-year deal with Leganés, which includes an option to extend for an additional season.
The son of France’s head coach Zinedine Zidane is moving closer to the Spanish capital. Throughout his career, Luka has mostly played in the Segunda División, apart from a brief spell in La Liga with Rayo Vallecano. He is now the second son of the French coach to switch clubs this summer, following his younger brother Elyaz, who moved from Betis to Red Star earlier in the transfer window.
