In a friendly match played overnight, the national teams of Mexico and Colombia faced off.

The opening goal came early, in the 9th minute, when Luis Suarez of Portuguese club Sporting—not to be confused with the famous Uruguayan namesake and Lionel Messi’s teammate at Inter Miami—found the net. Mexico managed to equalize in the 62nd minute through a strike by Gilberto Mora.
