Olympiacos Set to Sell Roman Yaremchuk, Lyon Leading Transfer Bid
Greek club Olympiacos is set to part ways with Ukrainian international forward Roman Yaremchuk this summer. The 30-year-old striker no longer fits into the club’s plans as the management aims to reduce the number of attacking players in the squad.
According to Sportal, Olympiacos is looking to secure a transfer fee of €3.3 million for Yaremchuk.
Lyon stands out as the leading contender to sign Yaremchuk, having had him on loan last season. The French side is actively working towards making the Ukrainian forward’s move permanent.
To recall, during the latter half of last season with Lyon, Roman featured in 14 matches, scoring five goals and providing one assist.
