Vinicius Junior Rejects Real Madrid’s Latest Contract Offer
Real Madrid’s Brazilian winger Vinicius Junior has turned down the club’s latest contract offer. According to El Larguero, the proposal included a deal running until 2031 with a salary of 22 million euros per year.
Currently, Vinicius is under contract until 2027. Real Madrid’s management plans to hold a personal meeting with him on August 6 to try and negotiate an extension.
The Brazilian star is the primary target for Premier League champions Arsenal. Should Real fail to secure a new contract with Vinicius, they intend to sell him for over 100 million euros.
Last season, the 26-year-old winger featured in 53 matches across all competitions for Real Madrid, scoring 22 goals and providing 14 assists. At the 2026 World Cup, Vinicius contributed four goals, helping Brazil reach the round of 16.
