Manchester United’s head coach Michael Carrick reflected on the 2-1 victory over Atletico in a friendly match, highlighting Brian Mbemo’s brace as the key to the win.

“Winning football matches is always important. It is, of course, a vital part of this football club’s life.

We aim to be entertaining, score goals, and take part in exciting football games. That is what the fans enjoy, and it is exactly why I fell in love with this club,” Carrick stated.

Manchester United will face PSG in their next fixture on August 8.
