MLS action continued overnight with another round of regular season matches that will determine the playoff participants.

Vancouver secured a 2-0 victory on the road against Seattle. The scoring was opened by Vancouver’s Elumi, with the second goal coming from the renowned German striker Thomas Müller.

Portland clinched a spot in the round of 32 despite suffering a 1-2 away defeat to Chicago Fire. Robert Lewandowski featured for the winners for the first 60 minutes but was unable to find the net. The goals for Chicago were scored by Lode and D’Avila, while Surman netted the lone goal for Portland.

Austin, featuring the Ukrainian defender Oleksandr Svatok, lost 1-2 at home to Dallas. Svatok played the full 90 minutes. Torres scored for Austin, while Abubakar and Musa were on target for Dallas.
