Newcastle United has emerged as the frontrunner in the race to sign Milan striker Christopher Nkunku, according to reports from Sport Mediaset.

Nkunku was among the players sidelined by Ruben Amorim from the squad and was even excluded from training sessions following the preseason tour.

The former Chelsea player is keen to return to the Premier League, where he is also attracting interest from Aston Villa. Additionally, clubs such as Roma, Borussia Dortmund, and RB Leipzig have shown interest in the forward.
