Moroccan defender Naef Aguerd will spend the upcoming season wearing the Real Sociedad jersey. According to Fabrizio Romano, the Basque club has reached an agreement with Marseille for the player’s transfer.

The initial loan fee is set at 4 million euros. Additionally, the contract includes an option to buy Aguerd outright for 11 million euros.

Aguerd represents one of Marseille’s significant transfer disappointments. The club paid 23 million euros for him just a year ago.
